Are you worried about your breath?
The use of sweet candy or a mouthwash containing alcohol can cause more harm than good. Biofilm bacteria (plaque) convert sugar into acid, the mouthwash has a temporary effect and it contains alcohol dries out the mucous membranes.
Here are some suggestions much more effective:
* Rinse mouth with water.
* Chew sugarless gum to stimulate saliva, which acts as a natural cleansing.
* Crunching celery, a carrot or an apple. These foods help eliminate food debris and the process of chewing increases saliva flow.
* Observe a balanced diet. A food deficiency may contribute to diseases of the gums and halitosis.
