Products facial, tattoos ephemeral black hair dye products, depilatories or care for the body are part of cosmetic products most often causing side effects (irritation, allergies, etc.), according to a report prepared by Afssaps. In 2006, 140 side effects, including 128 directly related to cosmetics, were reported to the evaluation department of cosmetics, biocides and tattoos of the French Agency for Health Safety of Health Products (AFSSAPS). It was, in 79% of cases of allergic reactions, sometimes immediate (contact urticaria, anaphylactic shock), but usually later (contact dermatitis). Irritation reactions were observed in 11% of cases, as well as convulsions, respiratory discomfort, stretch marks … About a third of the side effects were severe, causing hospitalization of five people and unsuited or temporary disability in nine other cases. The Afssaps recalls the risk of allergic eczema (8 cases in 2004, 9 in 2005, 16 in 2006) related to the achievement of black tattoos ephemeral, frequent during the summer.
