For optimal use of a sunscreen

Surprising as it may seem, it appears that most of us do not routinely our sunscreen, do not put enough and not at the right time. Whew! "Ideally, sunscreen should be applied thickly and uniform 30 minutes before to go out, to allow time for the cream to penetrate the skin," says Dr. Jean-Francois Tremblay. To cover the entire body should be about 30 ml of cream. "When you are outside, even on cloudy days should reapply the cream every two hours. If you sweat a lot or if it is in the water, it must do so more often, "says Genevieve St-Cyr. It is also important not to overlook some parts of the body. The ears, feet, lips and head are often forgotten when it comes to cream. For this reason, sunburn are common and equally dangerous. For the lips, multiple offer balms with SPF, to protect this sensitive area against the sun's rays. Finally, we must not forget that between 11h and 16h that the sun's rays are strongest. As to the harmful effects of direct exposure to sunlight, they can be multiplied by reflections on snow, water and sand clear. Do not forget when you ski or exit meeting tanning on the beaches of Cuba.
Did you know?
Only 20% of wrinkles and signs of skin aging are due to biological aging? The remaining 80% are due to the sun. "This has been proven scientifically," said Dr Jean-Francois Tremblay, adding that a large proportion of damage caused by the sun, while still invisible accumulate during childhood and adolescence.
