How do you get it dry mouth?
The only permanent way to treat dry mouth is to treat its cause. If dry mouth resulting from the use of drugs, your doctor may change its order or the dosage. If your salivary glands do not work well but produce some saliva, your physician may prescribe a medication to help the salivary glands to function better. If the cause of dry mouth can be eliminated or until it can be, you can get rid of this drought in many ways. Your dentist can prescribe wetting agents, such as a saliva substitute. There are also mouthwashes specially designed to alleviate the dry mouth. You can also:
Often drink water or drinks without sugar
Avoid drinks based on caffeine (coffee, tea and some soft drinks) that can reduce salivary flow. Chew sugarless gum or suck sugar-free candies to stimulate saliva flow (if the salivary glands are still active) Do not consume alcohol or tobacco, which cause dry mouth
Avoid salty or spicy foods that can cause pain in a dry mouth.
Use a humidifier at night.
