The halitosis (bad breath) is a symptom

The halitosis (bad breath) is a symptom to consider in health promotion and disease prevention. The factors responsible for halitosis are from the mouth to 90% 1. It is usually possible to remedy this condition or when the sources are identified and many solutions help keep the mouth free of odors. The dental hygienist can help you to understand, control and eliminate halitosis.
Types of halitosis
* Timely: The digestion of certain foods may affect your breath for a period ranging from 24 to 72 hours. The breath of morning is also temporary and can be remedied by consuming a healthy breakfast, followed by a proper brushing and using dental floss.
* Chronic: The chronic halitosis persists despite good oral hygiene. Its origins can be oral or linked to a general medical condition.
