What are the different parts of a tooth?
* Crown: upper tooth that is normally only partly visible. The shape of the crown determines the function of the tooth. For example, anterior teeth are sharp and shaped chisel to cut, while the molars have large surfaces for grinding.
* Leisure gingival: meeting place between the tooth and gum. A bad or poor brushing flossing, favors the gradual accumulation of plaque and tartar at the gum edge, causing gingivitis and gum disease.
* Root: Part of the tooth which is in the bones. The root is roughly two thirds the height of the tooth and ensure its continued existence.
* Email: Layer the most out of the crown. The enamel is the fabric of the hardest and most of the ore body - but in the absence of a good cleaning, it can be attacked by caries.
* Dentin: the layer beneath the tooth enamel and forming the root. If the decay penetrates through the enamel, dentin attack it where millions of tiny tubes provide direct contact between the mouth and the dental pulp.
* Pulp, the soft tissue in the middle of all teeth, rich in blood vessels and nerves. Achieving the pulp cavity is usually painful.
